Responsibilities:

·         1. Prepare wires, parts, components and structures to assemble wire harnesses and sub-assemblies.

·         2. Assemble component parts into completed assemblies following manufacturing instructions, drawings, wiring diagrams.

·         3. Familiarity with measured equipment. Measure and cut wires and cables to required lengths.

·        4. Perform wire termination and crimp terminals both manually and by machine.

·         5. Read and understand wiring diagrams, basic drawings (wire, terminal, housing, label).

·         6. Perform pull test on cable wires.

·        7.  Apply cable labels.

Requirement:

·         1. Ability to work independently from electrical schematics, mechanical drawing and Bill of Materials.

·         2. Assemble complex chassis and electrical hardware with minimal supervision.

·         3. Build custom cables and wire harnesses.

·         4.  Solder thru-hole and surface mount PCBs as well as connectors for cables.

·         5. Adapt and skilled at using hand tools and basic electronics equipment: torque wrenches, wire strippers, soldering irons, crimpers, multimeters, hi-pot tester, power supplies, etc…

·         6. Ability to work well in teams.

·         7. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

·         8. One year + in cable and/or PCB environment/experience desired.
