Responsibilities:

·         Perform manufacturing engineering assignment of various degrees of product complexity.

·         Evaluate manufacturing processes. Study production and machine/test fixtures/tooling requirements.

·         Provide support for the design, fabrication, modification and evaluation or manufacturing operations.

·         Prepare plan, process specifications, procedures and assembly instructions, manufacturing labor standard.

·         Control and document Manufacturing Process instructions. Train assemblers/operators on new work instructions and new processes.

·         Analyze and plan workflow, equipment placement and space requirements to improve manufacturing efficiency.

·         Optimize assembly layouts, production lines and machine operations.

·         Comply and evaluate test and production data, prepare technical analysis, recommend manufacturing methods and processes required to meet quality objectives.

·         Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair services and make sure that manufacturing procedures and instructions are followed to keep production equipment operational.

Requirements:

·         Knowledge of manufacturing processes, assembly method and tool design.

·         Thorough understanding of continuous process improvement tools.

·         Project management skills and problem-solving ability.

·         Team work skills. Strong sense of urgency and accountability.

·         Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016 quality systems.

·         Three + years of experience in manufacturing or quality environment. Solid understanding of New Product Instruction (NPI) process.

·         Experience with 5S and Lean process improvements.

·         Ability to interact with all levels.

·         Good communication skills.

Education:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering or a related discipline (Mechanical or Industrial preferred).
