1. To do fully assignment as Casting Manager
2. Plans, coordinates, and supervises activities involving the preparation the casting of sanitary wares to ensure adherence to established schedules and specifications, also assist Moldshop, slip house and glazed house on planning.
3. Conducts periodic tour of the plant to check operation and sees to it that production delays and troubles are avoided.
4. Assist Area on coordinates with the following department:
- Production planning: Regarding production schedules, availability of materials and supplies needed in the preparation of slip – glaze and casting of wares
- Spray / Kiln: Regarding glazes and wares needed for its smooth operation.
- Glost / QA: Regarding problems on wares encountered for correction in the line
- Maintenance: Regarding to requested materials on quotations needed.
- Engineering: Regarding projects for the department.
4. Reviews, recommends, and implements changes in production process or procedures, as required to improve product and reduce cost
5. Attends daily clay loss and glost court meetings, analyses problems encountered based on product defects, determine causes and initiatives solutions.
6. Coordinates with the lab regarding testing of slip – glaze formulations, initiatives changes to ensure conformity to quality specifications.
7. Assist Area Manager to see the proper handling of equipment and machineries, implements safety, a security measurement, proper housekeeping and cleanliness.
8. Prepare periodical department budgets on manpower, cost, equipment, materials… for superior approval
9. To coordinate with all related department on new products development for establish correct procedure and training for implementation- suggest correct tools, method and equipments to produce new products.
10. Coordinated with region team to learn and apply new best practices on local factory (Performance improvement, Cost reduction project, working procedure.)
11. Assist and do improvement of current components, accessories, carton packing.
12. Prepare reports from time to time as assigned and needed.
